STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York Attorney General Letitia James is part of a national coalition that secured $45 million from a payment app that failed to protect consumers from scams and fraud.
The coalition of 46 attorneys general secured the funds from Block, Inc., the company behind the popular Cash App, a peer-to-peer payment platform.
