LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The 21st Century Road to Housing Act, officially enacted into federal law on Saturday, could help prospective home buyers achieve their dream of buying a home in the Las Vegas Valley.
But according to some realtors, it may take some time.
Broker salesperson Cheryl Toste and realtor Shane Beall with Keller Williams Realty Las Vegas said until interest rates come down, home buying won’t initially speed up as intended under the new law.

“In the short term, when it comes to the immediate housing supply, if somebody is looking as a first-time home buyer to get in a home today, it is still going to be a little bit difficult,” Toste said…
