PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A major blow has struck one of the longtime organizations helping children in need in Portland.
The Boys and Girls Club of Oregon sent a letter to volunteers announcing it would close the North Portland Portsmouth Club.
From mentoring children to providing after-school care for families, the soon-to-be-closed location serves about 50 children.
