After a weekend of thunderstorms that brought flooding to portions of New Orleans, the deluge continued Monday morning as the area remained at risk for flooding, forecasters said.
NOLA.com Senior Meteorologist Damon Singleton said a surge of tropical moisture from the Gulf was interacting with a stalled frontal boundary Monday, bringing more widespread showers and storms to New Orleans.
