NIXA, Mo. (KY3) -Drivers in Nixa should prepare for a new closure near the Route CC and Main Street construction project starting Monday morning.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), at 6 a.m. Monday, crews will close Route CC east of Main Street, including Rosewood Lane south of Route CC.
That means drivers who have been using Rosewood Lane or Winona Way to get around the project will need to find another route.
Jason Evenden, a MoDOT resident engineer, said that Main Street and W. Cedar Street will remain open for now, but drivers should expect crews and equipment near traffic. Drivers are urged to slow down, pay attention to signs, and avoid distractions in the work zone…
