PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Three hikers were rescued from a popular Phoenix mountain trail during two separate incidents Monday morning.
Around 10 a.m., technical rescue teams from the Phoenix Fire Department were called to Camelback Mountain’s Echo Canyon Trailhead for reports of a hiker experiencing a heat-related emergency. Crews made their way up the trail and were evaluating the man when they were notified of a second hiker in heat-related distress further up the mountain.
Team members assisted both hikers down the trail. The two men were reevaluated by paramedics at the base of the mountain and refused transport to the hospital…
