PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A grass fire caused by downed power lines is now under control on Tualatin Valley Highway, just west of Aloha, authorities said.
The blaze is now contained, thanks to a response from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue. While there were some traffic disruptions earlier in the afternoon, by 6 p.m., transportation officials said that portion of TV Hwy is now reopened.
TVF&R told KOIN 6 News that firefighters responded to the fire as it spread through the grass, brush and a nearby railroad track.
