Niskayuna, NY (WRGB) — The red street markings that were once called an “eyesore” by residents of Niskayuna have been removed.
Before the paint was removed, Schenectady County Spokesperson Erin Laiacona said the markings were meant to calm traffic, create clearly designated on-street parking, and improve sightlines for vehicles at intersections. However, the county announced a pause on the project after hearing community concerns.
