Michigan State Police seize 102 grams of crack cocaine during traffic stop

WACOUSTA TWP., Mich. (News 10) – Michigan State Police seized about 102 grams of crack cocaine during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning in Clinton County.

Troopers stopped a vehicle traveling 90 mph in a 70-mph zone on westbound I-96 near Wright Road, according to Michigan State Police.

During the traffic stop, troopers conducted a further investigation and discovered crack cocaine inside the vehicle.

Police said the driver, a 24-year-old Grand Rapids woman, was found in possession of crack cocaine. The passenger, a 51-year-old Grand Rapids man, was also allegedly carrying a large quantity of the drug.

Both were arrested and lodged in the Clinton County Jail. The woman was charged with possession of crack cocaine, while the man was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver…
