It’s a garden, a gallery and a treasure hunt
Phipps Conservatory sits inside Pittsburgh’s Schenley Park, and from the outside, it looks like a place you visit for orchids and palms. That part is true.
But tucked between the ferns, hanging above your head, and crouched among the flowers are pieces of glass art left behind by three internationally known artists after major shows. You won’t find them all in one room.
They’re scattered across 15 acres, and finding them is part of why people come back.
