SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Five and a half years after Maya Millete went missing, a jury found her husband, Larry Millete, guilty of first-degree murder despite her body never being found.
However, her family says this is not the end of their pursuit of true justice and bringing Maya home.
“It’s bittersweet because no matter what angle you look at it, it’s still a tragedy for the family. My sister is gone, and her husband, the father of my nieces and nephew, is going to jail.
