NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia teenager awaiting trial for his alleged role in the November 2025 gang-related gunshot slaying of a Norristown man will no longer be housed at the Montgomery County Youth Center after he allegedly engaged in assaultive behavior at that facility, including punching a staff member in the face.
Theodore Adams, 17, was removed from the youth center in West Norriton Township on Tuesday and was transferred immediately to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility, an adult prison in Thornton, Delaware County, which has a wing for youths charged as adults for serious crimes.
