MALTA, N.Y. (WNYT)- A man was charged after deputies said he stole a running vehicle from a Malta store parking lot and was later found near the recovered car in Cohoes.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded Friday, July 10 at 5:15 a.m. to a larceny complaint at the Stewart’s Shop on Round Lake Road in the town of Malta. The investigation led to the arrest of Michael T. Garrick, 43, of Wells, on a charge of third degree grand larceny.
Garrick is accused of stealing an unoccupied vehicle that had been left running in the store parking lot. Deputies tracked the vehicle to the city of Cohoes, where it was found unoccupied…
