WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are working to learn what led up to a shooting in Congress Heights that left a person hurt.
The Metropolitan Police Department told DC News Now that officers were called to the 200 block of Sterling Street for a report of a shooting around 2 a.m. on July 14.

At the scene, police officers found evidence of a shooting, but did not see a victim. Police later learned that the victim had arrived at the hospital.
