NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 53-year-old man was taken into custody Monday after he was accused of throwing a milk crate from the 15th floor of a Nashville apartment and injuring two people.
Officers were called to the Parthenon Towers on 28th Avenue North on Sept. 19, 2025 after two people were hit by a falling object from an upper balcony.
Guns, pills, cash seized in Maury County drug bust
According to court documents, the object was a milk crate filled with clothing and vomit. Officers reviewed surveillance video, which showed Michael Flye exit a room on the 15th floor with the milk crate before approaching the balcony and returning without it.
Detectives searched nearby Centennial Park and found Flye wearing the same clothes as the man in the video. Metro police reported Flye was seen coming in and out of the 15th floor apartment in the days following the incident…
