CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A previously convicted Charlotte man was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of firearm possession.
A Mecklenburg County jury found 29-year-old Jeremy Thrasher guilty of the charge stemming from a July 2023 arrest.

The sentence was handed down by Superior Court Judge Roy T. Wijewickrama after the trail began July 6. Prosecutors argued that an aggravating factor existed because Thrasher violated his probation, leading to a graeter sentence of 125-162 months.
