JANESVILLE – Rock County health officials say the county has received notification of two cases of cyclosporiasis — a bacterial parasitic infection that’s on the rise in the Midwest that can leave people with severe diarrhea and other gastric disturbances.
Rock County Communicable Disease Unit Supervisor Beth Solomon confirmed the local cases in communications with The Gazette this week.
