BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Moisture and cloud cover on Tuesday aided firefighters on the Claremont Fire, which has now burned an estimated 6,815 acres and is roughly 60-percent contained.
USWFS Idaho – Great Basin reports that firefighters aided by dozer operators were able to continue constructing and reinforcing containment lines, and more of the same is expected through Wednesday. Firefighters are working to connect ridgelines and roadways to hold the fire west of communities in the Robie Creek area. Structure protection assessments will continue in the area as contingency plans are made around the Wilderness Ranch community…
