ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. (WNYT)- Albany County says smoky air is expected to remain a concern, with free N95 masks available for residents and extra warnings for higher-risk groups.
Air quality in the Capital Region is expected to be affected Thursday by wildfire smoke from Canada. Air Quality Index is predicted to be around 150, which falls into the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category.
The Albany County Department of Health urged people in sensitive health groups to limit outdoor activity and asked all residents to keep checking changing conditions through the day.
