A power outage was impacting thousands of San Diego Gas and Electric customers in the southern part of Orange County on Wednesday night, the public utility company said.
The outage, which started at around 8:50 p.m., was at one point affecting 22,525 customers in communities like Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, SDG&E’s “Outage Map” showed. By 10:45 p.m., power was restored to about 3,200 customers.
