A longtime restaurant space in East Walpole is getting a fresh start.
204 Washington Tavern is preparing to take over the former 204 Washington Restaurant & Bar space at 204 Washington Street. According to Boston Restaurant Talk, new signage has recently gone up at the building, while the tavern’s recently launched Facebook page offers a first look at the refreshed exterior.
Commercial remodeling permits filed in early June 2026 identify John Jacob, owner of local Irish pub chain Napper Tandy’s, as the force behind the new concept.
