FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Parkview Health announced Thursday that lettuce and salad mixes are no longer offered at any of its facilities as a precaution during the cyclosporiasis outbreak.
A few hundred cases of the parasitic illness – which reportedly causes “explosive” diarrhea – have been confirmed in Indiana. The Allen County Department of Health confirmed that as of Wednesday, there were 32 local cases.
