Hamilton County commissioners delay vote on senior property tax freeze until December

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Hamilton County commissioners have again delayed a vote on a proposed senior property tax freeze, pushing the decision to December 3rd.

The proposal would’ve adopted a state law from 2007 that would prevent property tax bills for people over 65 from increasing.
