GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a shooting that left behind two crime scenes Wednesday evening at an apartment complex just outside Doraville.
The shooting happened shortly before dark at the Longwood Vista Apartments, located at 2305 Global Forum Blvd. Although the complex has an Atlanta mailing address, it is located in Gwinnett County. Gwinnett County police are leading the investigation.
One crime scene is near the front of the apartment complex, where officers have taped off an area outside one of the buildings. More than a dozen evidence markers were scattered across the parking lot as investigators processed the scene.
