COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — AC/DC fans pouring into Ohio Stadium for the band’s Power Up Tour stop Wednesday faced more than just the anticipation of a 7 p.m. show: they also had to contend with dangerous heat as a heat advisory remained in effect across much of Central Ohio.
Temperatures were in the 90s with heat index values nearing 100 degrees as thousands of concertgoers arrived hours before the show, with gates opening ahead of the performance.
