The Apopka Police Department made 31 adult arrests and four juvenile arrests during the week of July 5 through July 11, according to the department’s weekly arrest report. The report also shows officers responded to 1,650 calls for service, investigated 35 traffic crashes, and issued 75 citations during the reporting period.
Among the arrests was a 25-year-old Tavares man charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher while a person under 18 was in the vehicle. The arrest occurred on July 10 near South Hawthorne Avenue and West Main Street.
Police also reported arrests involving battery, theft, drug possession, resisting an officer, domestic violence, trespassing on school grounds, false imprisonment, intimidation, driving with a suspended or invalid license, and several outstanding warrants…
