LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — More than a week after historic flooding swept through Jerusalem Township, homes, farms and businesses and residents are continuing cleanup efforts.
Farmers Dawn Crickard and Chuck George said they are still working to clean their barn and assess the damage left behind by the flooding. As more rain entered the forecast, the couple said concerns about another flood quickly resurfaced.
“I pray to God, I heard there’s rain coming this weekend and they were worried about possible flash flooding, so it kind of put me in panic mode. We’re like, ‘OK, what do we do to prepare for this now in case it happens again?'” Crickard said…
