A convicted felon triggered a police car chase when he fled the traffic stop and opened fire on the officers. Multiple police officers chased after the felon as well as his accomplices in Oklahoma City.
The car chase went on overnight, starting from Northwest 10th Street and May Avenue. At first, the felon assured officers his weapon wasn’t loaded, but proceeded to run away from the stop. The officers noticed his license plate light wasn’t working, and he wasn’t supposed to have a weapon as a convicted felon.
The officer asked him to exit the vehicle, but he did not comply. The police officer told him, “Hey, step out. Just listen. Okay. Step out of the car. I’m not going to ask you again. Or just open the door.”…
