NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Mayor Helena Moreno’s administration celebrated filling 15,000 potholes on New Orleans streets since her inauguration. However, it is falling short of its weekly pothole goal.
In March, Moreno posted a social media video stating her Department of Public Works would aim to fill 1,500 potholes a week. At the time, she said the city already had filled roughly 5,000.
