All lanes reopen on I-5 after overturned truck south of Eugene, delays continue

UPDATE 7/16/26 8:48 AM: All northbound lanes of Interstate 5 have reopened south of Eugene and Springfield after an overturned truck temporarily blocked traffic, but motorists should still expect delays, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred near milepost 191. ODOT said crews have reopened all travel lanes and are working from the shoulder to remove the truck’s remaining spilled load.

Traffic remains backed up in the area, and drivers could experience delays as cleanup continues…
