The air in Medina County is filled with smoke originating from wildfires blazing in Canada on Thursday.
National Weather Service of Cleveland Meteorologist David Marsalek said the smoke comes from wildfires that are mainly in the northwestern part of Ontario and the northern region of Manitoba.
“One of the bigger issues here is, sometimes when we deal with smoke from wildfires, it’s not always at the surface like this,” he said. “This is why it’s a bit more impactful this time around. It’s because the smoke is basically sitting at ground level.”…
