Man livestreamed the aftermath of the murder he committed on Facebook, filmed himself standing over the victim: Police

A Florida man who allegedly bragged about shooting another man dead during a Facebook livestream was arrested.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 42-year-old Gedeonson Hyacinthe, who was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm. Hyacinthe’s arrest on Wednesday was in connection with the death of an unnamed man who died of gunshot wounds on April 14, 2025. Police said they responded to the scene and found Hyacinthe standing over the deceased man. Hyacinthe told police at the time that he and the victim got into a verbal altercation that escalated.

Police said Hyacinthe was questioned after the shooting, but apparently escaped custody. He was located on Wednesday by the Fugitive Warrants Unit and arrested without incident…
