DEL CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – Multiple people have been taken into custody following a string of car burglaries in Del City, police say.
According to the Del City Police Department, on July 10, two people found a key fob on the ground and used it to enter a vehicle and steal items from inside. Four days later, the suspects were arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on multiple felony charges and the property was returned to the owner.
On July 16, police received a call regarding three people breaking into cars at an apartment complex. When officers arrived, they located all three juvenile suspects and took them into custody.
Officials say at around 3 a.m. the same night, police received another call about someone breaking into cars in a neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found the juvenile suspect with burglary tools and took him into custody.
