ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis gang leader was sentenced last Friday to federal prison after admitting he illegally sold guns to an undercover federal agent and orchestrated robbing them during a gun deal.
Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said Joseph Burchett, 26, was involved in a series of illegal gun sales to an undercover agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) in 2024.
