FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FCFRD) said that a car caught fire after a crash on Thursday.
Officials said that the crash happened on westbound Route 50 under the Interstate 495 overpass.
Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Groveton crash
As of 5:40 p.m., responding crews had extinguished the fire and confirmed that nobody was trapped in the car.
One of the car’s occupants was treated on the scene. They are expected to survive.
