MONETA, Va. (WFXR) – Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy is expanding its athletic program with the addition of two experienced leaders.
The academy hired Tim Fulton as its new athletic director. Fulton brings years of experience as a teacher, coach, and athletic administrator, most recently serving as athletic director at Lord Botetourt High School. School officials say he will help lead the program while using athletics to develop students’ character and faith.
The school also announced that longtime Virginia coach and athletic administrator Frank Rocco has joined the academy as an athletic consultant. Rocco, who built one of the state’s top athletic programs during his career at Liberty Christian Academy, will provide guidance and strategic support as Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy continues to grow its athletic program…
