The east coast of South Florida, including most metro areas, is under a heat advisory again today, with extreme temperatures set to continue into the weekend.
The heat advisory will last from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 17, with coastal and metro Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties all under warning, along with inland Collier County, according to the National Weather Service office in Miami.
Peak heat index values will range between 105 and 110 degrees today — major heat risk is expected across “all urban locations and parts of interior Southwest Florida.”…
