BENTON, La. — The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office is changing how security is handled for special events following a decision by parish police jurors.
Police jurors approved an amendment to the parish code of ordinances this week to allow the use of private security firms. The move comes as the department deals with significant manpower shortages.
