Semitrailer fire shuts down parts of I-25 south of Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — A semitrailer fire has closed parts of Interstate 25 just south of Denver on Friday morning, according to a post on X from South Metro Fire Rescue.

At 5:44 a.m., South Metro Fire Rescue said it, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado State Patrol were responding to reports of a commercial vehicle fire on northbound I-25 near Happy Canyon Road.

All northbound lanes of I-25 were shut down near Founders Parkway.

No injuries were reported…
