BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person suspected of passing counterfeit bills at a Dollar General store earlier in July.
According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect allegedly used counterfeit currency during separate transactions at the Montvale store on July 8 and July 9. Investigators have not released additional details about the suspect or the amount of counterfeit money involved.
Anyone who recognizes the individual in the surveillance photos or has information about the case is asked to contact Deputy Dalton with the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office at 540-586-7827.
