Hundreds of animals removed from San Diego County property

(FOX 5/KUSI) — Overcrowded and unsanitary conditions is where 820 birds, including 400 ducks and two dogs, were living in before animal services took them from a San Diego County property.

The 12-hour removal of the hundreds of animals took place during the heat wave on Thursday. San Diego County Animal Services obtained a search warrant for a property in the 11200 block of Lilac Vista Drive in Valley Center for reports that the animals were sick and not being cared for properly, the County of San Diego reports.
