CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — There were 20 heat-related medical calls from Bank of America Stadium Friday during the Usher-Chris Brown concert, Medic officials said.
The calls came after the temperatures reached the upper-90s, and remained in the 90s when the show began at 7:30 p.m.
Medic reported 26 total heat-related calls for the day in Mecklenburg County, where a Code Orange air quality alert also was in effect.
