BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York State Police are investigating the death of an inmate following an altercation at Attica Correctional Facility on Friday.
NYS Police said they were notified of the death around 7 p.m. on Friday; according to preliminary investigations, the death was caused by a fight between two groups of inmates. A second individual was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Erie County Medical Center.
