The Revere Fire Department in Revere, Massachusetts, reported that a swift, multi-agency rescue response brought two people to safety after a 911 call came in at 12:57 PM on July 19th. According to the department’s announcement, the Metro North Regional Emergency Communications Center (MNRECC) received the call about two people struggling in the water near the breakers at Eliot Circle, at the same time crowds were gathered nearby for the Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival.
