Syracuse, N.Y. — Despite furious neighbors, police shutting down the event and an appearance ticket, Alex Silver said he wouldn’t change a thing.
“It was the single best day of my life,” Silver said two days after hundreds of people packed the parking lot behind his Eastwood video game store Friday to watch a plush Eurasian blackbird thaw from a giant block of ice. “I’ve never felt more supported and loved.”
