From rumbles of thunder to big bolts of lightning, several parts of central North Carolina endured a rain-soaked night after downpours throughout the day.
A large tree fell on a home in Cary during fast-moving storms on Monday afternoon.
It happened in the 200 block of Shotte Court. The damage left part of the roof exposed.
