Dallas-Fort Worth residents can expect triple-digit temperatures and a heat advisory this week.
Sarah Barnes, National Weather Service meteorologist, said the week will kick off with temperatures in the low 100s during the day, dropping to the low to mid-80s at night. She said the heat advisory until Tuesday evening will possibly be extended throughout the week.
