ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A 36-year-old man faces a felony after Stephenson County deputies say they found pounds of cannabis during a traffic stop.
Azibriel J. Parker, of Freeport, is charged with possession with intent to deliver more than 5,000 grams of cannabis.
Just before 2:30 a.m., July 19, deputies stopped a car in the area of Illinois Route 75 East and Church Road in rural Stephenson County for a possible traffic violation.
During the stop, deputies say they found probable cause to search the car and occupants. The search revealed about 29 pounds of cannabis and about $1,800 cash, the sheriff’s office says…
