NEW SCOTLAND — For more than half a century, Robert Parmenter pieced together New Scotland’s history — one photograph, one conversation at a time.
“What saddens me after 52 years,” Parmenter told The Enterprise this week, “is all of my sources of information, all of the people I’ve worked with, they’re all gone now. I’m 86 and suddenly, all those people are no longer with me.”
