ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Decatur city commissioners voted unanimously Monday night to create a new homelessness task force, launching a months-long process that city officials say is needed as demand for homeless support rises.
City of Decatur Assistant City Manager of Community and Economic Development Angela Threadgill said the city has seen increased need for resources and services.
